When we opened the doors of Tasty Munch here in Houston on Memorial Day 2024, we didn’t know exactly what to expect.
We had recipes we believed in.

We had a vision for what a welcoming, cozy breakfast and lunch could feel like.

And most importantly, we had our family-working side by side, taking a chance on a local business we truly cared about.
But what we didn’t have yet… was you.

And now, two years later, we can honestly say:
Tasty Munch is what it is because of this incredible Houston community.

Memorial Day Means More to Us

Memorial Day will always be special to us. It’s a somber day of remembrance for our country, and for our family, it also marks the day we opened our doors. It represents a beginning.

It was a beginning built on long mornings, learning as we went, adjusting recipes, listening to your feedback, and putting our hearts into every plate that leaves our kitchen.

Every pancake flipped, every hearty omelet served, every plate of Loco Moco or Stuffed French Toast-it all carries a piece of our family’s journey.

From Our Family to Yours

Tasty Munch has never been just a restaurant to us.
It’s early mornings together before the doors open on the Katy Freeway.

It’s testing recipes until they feel just right.
It’s recognizing familiar faces walking in and knowing exactly how you like your coffee or breafast taco.
It’s watching families, friends, and coworkers sit down and share a meal.

Those moments matter to us more than anything.
We’re not a big corporation.

We are a family-owned restaurant that decided to build something from scratch—and you welcomed us into your morning routines, your weekend brunches, and your celebrations.

Over these past two years, you’ve helped us grow in ways we never expected.

You’ve told your friends about us.
You’ve come back again and again.
You’ve trusted us with your breakfasts, your work lunches, and even your special event catering. Because of you, we keep pushing to get better-better flavors, better service, and better dining experiences.

We’re always asking ourselves:
