Recipe for Microwave.
1. 1/2 cupsgrated carrot,2 tbspghee,5 tbspmilk,6 tbspsugar,4 tbspmava (khoya)a pinch ofcardamom (elaichi) powder.
1.Heat the ghee in a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 15 seconds.
2.Add the carrot, mix well and microwave on high for 2 minutes.
3.Add the milk, sugar and khoya, mix well and microwave on high for 12 minutes, while stirring every 2 minutes.
4.Add the cardamom powder and mix well

2 cupsthicklygrated carrot,1 tbspghee,2 tbspmilk,4 tbspsugar,4 tbspmava (khoya),1 tbspraisins (kismis),1 tbspchopped almonds ,(badam),1/2 tspcardamom (elaichi) powder.
1.Heat the ghee in a pressure cooker; add the carrots and sauté on a medium flame for 4 to 5 minutes, while stirring continuously.
2.Add the milk, mix well and pressure cook for 1 whistle.
3.Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.
4.Transfer into a broad non-stick pan, add the sugar, mix well and cook on a high flame for 5 to 7 minutes, while stirring continuously.
5.Add the mava, mix well and cook for more 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring continuously.
6.Add the raisins, almonds and cardamom powder and cook for another 1 minute.
7.Serve hot or warm.
